Thomas died when his oldest son Cecil Thomas Field was just 2 years old, and before his second son Thomas Walter Douglas Field was born, so his family never knew him. Additional Information: | Sgt Thomas Walter Henry Field was my great Uncle.
I recently visited his grave in Barlin Community Cemetary, France.
I think I was the first in our family to have visited his grave and pay my respects.
