1206625 Pte. Albert E. Grimley British Army 1st Btn. East Lancashire Regiment from:Hebden Bridge, Yorks. (d.7th July 1916) Albert E. Grimley died of wounds on the 7th of July 1916, aged 37 and is buried in the Etaples Military Cemetery in France.
He had been wounded on the first day of the Battle of the Somme, he had lain in no man's land for 4 days before being found.
