Private Thomas Henry Bache

British Army 2nd Bn. Sherwood Foresters Notts & Derby Rgt

This man was my Uncle and died 22 years before I was born.Presently I am researching my family tree,but at the moment I need more information regarding My Uncle Tom,I need to know if he as gassed or died of the flu.

Additional Information:

Thomas Henry Bache was the son of Ernest Wood Bache and Theresa Sutherland Brown) was born 10 Jan 1899 in 27, St.Charles Square, Sculcoates, Hull, Yorkshire, and died 23 Jul 1918 in France.

Thomas Henry Bache, joined the army under age and served with the Sherwood Foresters, 2nd Battalion Notts & Derby Regiment. He survived to the last months of the war, when he was struck down with chest problems and died of pneumonia. Probably caused by Phosgene gas. He is interred at St.Charles Communal Cemetery, Sedan, Ardennes.France
