Dodds , Martin William. Corporal 19/164. Died 28th March 1918. age 30 years.

Son of the late William P. and S. Dodds; husband of Aylice Bulmer Dodds, of Lichfield House, Regent Parade, Harrogate, Yorks.
Cpl Dodds enlisted in a territorial unit, 3 Tyneside Commercial Corps in 1914. He was posted to the Western Front in February 1916 where he served with a machine gun section. Cpl Dodds was killed in action at Depencourt, while waiting for his application for a commission to be approved.
