Any information would be greatly appreciated Update: CWGC Lists George Harold Boland as being killed 20th Sept 1914 who is remembered on the La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial, which commemorates nearly 4,000 officers and men of the British Expeditionary Force who died in August, September and the early part of October 1914 and who have no known grave. | Harold was my granduncle. He was my grandmothers (Hilda Boland) brother. So I am Harold's grand nephew. Hilda married into a roman catholic relationship to a Irishman from Cork City by the name of Michael Higgins. Hilda had two other brothers who perished in the war around 1916 and 1918 (open to correction)
