206370 Pte. Alexander Mccallum British Army 6th Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers from:Rathfriland, Co. Down (d.28th Dec 1918) I am trying to find information of my Great Uncle, Alexander McCallum born in Co. Down 20/11/1879. I know he is buried in a Military Cemetery in Dublin. I have very little information about him, except his birth place & his parents. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Additional Information: He is buried in Grangegorman Military Cemetery in Dublin. His headstone is inscribed "13438 Private A. McCallum Royal Dublin Fusiliers 28th December 1918 age 41" Hope this helps Valerie Reply

I'm also looking for more information on Alexander. He was my Great Grandmother Anne Theresa 1st husband. All I know so far is like Valarie said he is buried in Grangegorman Cemetery. But I know he fought in the Balkans and he passed away at home with Anne from a war injury at the time they lived in Great George Street Dublin. I've being trying to find more information myself over the last few years and also a photo of Alexander. It's nice to know someone else is looking for more info too. Clare Barrett Reply
