211020 George Galbraith Moffatt United States Army New York City Irish Fusilers from:New Jersey, US My father, George Galbraith Moffatt the III, was named after his Uncle, George Galbraith Moffatt II. He died in France during WWI. What little I have from family history is, he came to visit family in the USA (he was from Ireland) and was recruited by the New York City Irish Fusiliers. He was 19 or 20 years of age when he was killed in action in France. He was never married nor had any children. His parents were Alfred Moffatt (from Ireland moved to New Jersey, USA) and his mother was Grace Lorana Howlett.
