Charles Gamble, my great uncle was the youngest of five brothers who all enlsted, the eldest Thomas was in the 9th battalion of the Foresters and was killed in action at Galipoli on the 9th August 1915 his service number was 13379. The next eldest brother Richard (my grand father) service number was 36006 and he was in the 6th Notts and Derby regiment, then there was Wiliam, and Frederick and I am unable to trace which regiments they were in.
As a point of interest My Great uncle on my Fathers side was Jacob Rivers VC who fell on March 12th at Nueve Chapelle.
