Angus Cameron of the 19th Battalion Durham Light Infantry was the son of the late James and Elizabeth Cameron of Jarrow.
Born, lived and enlisted in Jarrow. On the 1911 census Angus Cameron age 25 Labourer in Shipyard is listed as living with his parents James and Elizabeth Cameron and family at 13 Lord Street, Jarrow.
Angus died aged 32 on 20th July 1917 and is buried in Tincourt New British Cemetery. He is commemorated on the Triptych in St. Paul's Church, Jarrow.
