Thomas William Ireland who died aged 23 was born in Jarrow in 1892. He was the son of Thomas and Jessie Ellen Ireland (nee Goodman) and the husband of Rose H. Brazier (formerly Ireland nee Davies) of 4 Norman Buildings St. Luke's London. On the 1911 census Thomas William Ireland age 19 Painters Labourer in Shipyard is with his parents Thomas and Jessie Ellen Ireland and family at 45 Grey Street back, Jarrow
He Enlisted at Walker.
Thomas is buried in La Laiterie Military Cemetery and is commemorated on the Triptych in St. Paul's Church Jarrow.
