Thomas Swan died age 36, he was born in Stockton in 1878. In the 1911 Census
he is listed as Thomas Swan, aged 33, a General Labourer at a Chemical Works, lived with his wife, Margaret & 2 children, plus 2 stepchildren, at 213 Hope Street Jarrow-on-Tyne. He enlisted in Sunderland and first entered WW1 action on 24th of Sep 1914. His wife
Margaret Fenwick Woodward (late Swan - formerly Bell - nee Berry) later lived at 15 Hawke Street Haverton Hill.
Thomas is buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery and is commemorated on the Triptych in St. Paul's Church Jarrow.
