Arthur is buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery.
He is commemorated on the Palmer Cenotaph (west face) Jarrow, on the Triptych in St. Paul's Church Jarrow and he was also commemorated on the Triptych (right panel) in St. Mark's Church Jarrow (it is no longer a Church)
