219725 L/Cpl. Charles Robert Jenkins British Army 2nd Btn. Middlesex Regiment from:London (d.27th Feb 1917) Charles Jenkins was my Great Grandfather, born in London, he married Mary Ann Emma Jenkins. My family always knew he was killed in action during WW1 but not until recently after tracing our family tree we were able to find his exact date of death and service number etc. He served in 2nd Battalion Middlesex Regiment and was killed on 27th February 1917. My Nan was born in 1914 and sadly never got to know her father, but he has now found his place in our family tree which he greatly deserves.
