Henry Richard Ford enlisted on 11th December 1915. He served with the 10th Battalion East Yorkshire Regiment, the Hull Commercials and appears to have been in France for most of the time from 15th October 1916 onwards.
He was shot in the face in November 1916 and returned to England from 5th December 1916 to 7th March 1917 where he was fitted with new teeth and treated for fever.
He returned overseas and was killed in action in France on 27th March 1918.
