Capt. Henry Barnard Stoton

Henry Stoton was born 1867 in Ootacamund, a son of Colonel Thomas Henry Stoton of the Madras.N.I.& of Helen Dora Isabella Ricks. He was also great grandson of Major Henry Yarde (Hon. East India Co.) He married in 1907 to Ethel Latimer Brereton (born 1879 in Hong Kong).
Henry was an expert in the German language. In 1918 he served as Lt. in the Interpreter Corps. at Wakefield Prisoner of War Camp, Yorkshire.
He died in Cologne in January 1922 and was buried in the Cologne Southern Cemetery, Nordrhein, Westfalen, Germany.
