Piper. William Campsie
British Army 15th Bn. Royal Scots
from:Bridge of Allan
(d.19th April 1920)
William Campsie served with 15th Btn. Royal Scots as a piper and later
to 156th Labour Coy. Labour Corps. I have been to his grave in Logie Stirling and seen his name on the memorial in Bridge of Allan.
I may have a photograph of him but I am not sure what his uniform would look like - I have the family photographs of the Campsies who lived in Bridge of Allan including one of his father's shop.
I would love to know where he was and what he did, we share the same first name - presumably from the same ancestor
