George Lascelles was killed in action. He served in France and Flanders. He was the son of Ralph Henry Lascelles and Annie Lavinia Wilberforce.

Additional Information:

George first began his army career, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers in 1914. He is buried at Bois-des-Angles British Cemetery, Crevecoeur-sur-L’Escaut, Villers Outreaux, Cambrai, France and is commemorated on Byers Green War Memorial, Durham, England and Byers Green, Working Men’s Club, plaque and roll of honour
