Thomas Casey was killed in action on 31st October 1917, aged 30 years. He is buried in Nine Elms British Cemetery, Poperinge, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Headstone is engraved: Deeply mourned by his wife and two daughters.
He was the son of John and Elizabeth Casey and husband of Elizabeth S. Casey, of 1 Darrell Street, Dinnington Colliery, Northumberland. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission records show his service number as 19/247, however Battalion records show it as 19/217.
