Benjamin Webb was my great grandad. He was born 6th November 1879. He died 5 February 1949. He married Harriet Milner in 1902. They had 4 children,
Thomas Milner Webb 6th November 1905 (My grandad),
Elizabeth Webb 24 May 1909, Annie Webb 19 September 1911 and Joseph Webb 20 December 1921.
Benjamin served in France from 14th of July 1915
and was Discharged to Class Z Reserve on 23rd of February 1919. He was awarded the 1915 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal
He enlisted had into the 10th Notts & Derby Regiment (Sherwood Foresters). It also states in a 2nd Lieutenants nominal roll book as him being with 15th Section, 4 Platoon, A Company in April and May 1917 and ge was with the Transport.
