256782 Pte. Henry Ree British Army 7th Btn. Kings Shropshire Light Infantry from:Herefordshire (d.30th March 1918) Henry Ree is my great uncle. He enlisted into 7th Btn Kings Shropshire Light Infantry in 1914/15. He landed in France on the 28th of September 1915. Henry was reported missing on the 18th of March 1918, believed to have been seriously wounded and captured by Germans. He was taken to Estrees Field Hospital where he died of wounds on the 30th of March 1918. He was interred at Eltrees and then on 30th of September 1920 finally laid to rest in Sauchy Cauchy Cemetery, France.
