Joseph Wildblood served 1 year 9 months in France, then 1 year 9 months in Mesopotamia, 2 months in Egypt, 2 in months Salonica. Whilst in France Joseph also received a gun shot wound to his left eye 29th of July 1916 and a gun shot wound to his left shin on 6th Mar 1917.
He entered France with the 5th Battalion on 17 July 1915 and transferred to
the 4th Battalion on 22nd July 1917 in Mesopotamia.
He contracted malaria whilst in Salonica in Jan 1919.
He was classed as 30% disabled by the pensions board.
Joseph died aged 64 years old in 1964.
