Nurse. Elizabeth Munro Turnbull
Territorial Force Nursing Service 3rd Scottish General Hospital

Elizabeth Turnbull signed up with the Territorial Force Nursing Service on the 10th November 1915. She was stationed at Yorkhill War Hospital, part of the 3rd Scottish General Hospital in Glasgow.
Unfortunately, she was permanently invalided from service by a medical board on 17th July 1918 (paid until 25th July), and was awarded the Silver War Badge. She had been a witness at a court-martial at Edinburgh Castle in September 1917, where she got a severe wetting and chill, and developed acute cystitis.
