Born in 1876 Jacob Aldridge married Margaret in 1900. The Census showed him working as shipyard Labourer, age 16 in 1891. Father's name, Henry Aldridge.
Mother's name, Anne Aldridge. He was born in Sunderland. In 1911 he was aged 34, living at 36 Society Lane and working as a Shipyard Labourer.

Jacob died during the fighting to capture High Wood. His body was not recovered.
