Thomas Hill

Thomas Hill was a regular soldier who served 3 years with The Royal Fusiliers from 1903 to 1906. He was then recalled at the beginning of World War 1. and rejoined the 4th Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers. He received wounds at the first Battle of Mons and returned home where he died from shrapnel wounds. He left behind a widow Rose and 3 young sons; Thomas,George and John. He was 29 when he died.
