At about 11pm on 10th of August 1918, when the horse lines of the Searchlight Anti-Aircraft Section were heavily bombed by enemy aeroplanes, Harold Cooper was seriously wounded in the left leg. He was at once sent to No.4 Canadian Field Ambulance where he died.
