We have a collection of photographs most of which are unidentifiable. This one however gives the following details on the back. S/Sgt A Grant 28471 1st GB Cameron Highlanders No. 2 Coy. 4 Hut, Invergordon Ross shire Scotland. We have no idea who this soldier is or how he knew my father in law. He may have served in Salonika with my father in law, Ray Smith and been wounded and met Ray in hospital? We know that Ray was in hospital recovering from his wounds in Malta.
