War Diaries 106th Coy RE on the move   106th Field Company moved from Hebuterne back to Ypres by train after a march to the station. Arrived at Armentieres where rested. After two days 106th took over part of the line to let fresh troops to go up to the Somme. Writer was on Gas Guard over night. Germans sent 6000 gas shells into the town the night before the attack Sappers in behind the second line with fixed bayonets.    FREVILLERS Same as yesterday.
