Wanted: Digital copies of Group photographs, Scrapbooks, Autograph books, photo albums, newspaper clippings, letters, postcards and ephemera relating to WW2. We would like to obtain digital copies of any documents or photographs relating to WW2 you may have at home.If you have any unwanted photographs, documents or items from the First or Second World War, please do not destroy them. The Wartime Memories Project will give them a good home and ensure that they are used for educational purposes.

Rfmn. William James Sturgeon 2nd Btn. Rifle Brigade
Bill Sturgeon was I believe in the 2nd Battalion, Rifle Brigade and was taken prisoner of war at the Battle of Calais in 1940. He was held, we think in Poland and came home after the war. We believe he was a boy soldier in the Rifle Brigade before the war and was recalled in 1939.Robert William Sturgeon

Albert Hooper was wounded on the 13th of December 1944 whilst serving in Italy.Ray Bonner
Rflmn. Edwin Frank Large 2nd Btn. Rifle Brigade (d.24th Nov 1942)
Edwin Large died in November 1942, nothing else is known, we can't find his birth record.
