92nd Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery



   92nd Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery was formed in November 1941 by the re-designation of the 7th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. In 1942 the regiment joined 3rd Infantry Division as Divisional Artillery and were deployed on home defence duties in Britain. In spring 1943 they began training at Castle Douglas in Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland. F Troop, 92nd LAA Regiment landed on Sword Beach on the 6th of June 1944 and saw action across North West Europe. The regiment disbanded in February 1946.
