181st Field Regiment, Royal Artillery



   181st Field Regiment, Royal Artillery was formed in early 1942 by the conversion of the 6th Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry. It was made up of 177th, 178th and 179th Batteries, equipped with 25 pounders. They served with 15th (Scottish) Division and saw action in North Western Europe.
