147th (Essex Yeomanry) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery



   147th (Essex Yeomanry) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery was a territorial unit raised in 1939 as a duplicate regiment of the Essex Yeomanry. Equipped with Sexton Self Propelled 25 Pounder guns they saw action across North Western Europe with 8th Armoured Brigade from mid 1944 onwards.

The Wartime Memories Project will give them a good home and ensure that they are used for educational purposes.
