9th Infantry Brigade
9th Brigade was part of 3rd Division, at the outbreak of war in 1939 it was commanded by Brigadier William Robb MC and Brigade Headquarters was in Portsmouth. The Brigade proceeded to France in late September 1939 and saw action during the Battle of France, being evacuated to the UK in late May 1940. They saw action across North Western Europe from mid 1944 until the end of the Second World War.9th Brigade was made up of
