Wanted: Digital copies of Group photographs, Scrapbooks, Autograph books, photo albums, newspaper clippings, letters, postcards and ephemera relating to WW2. We would like to obtain digital copies of any documents or photographs relating to WW2 you may have at home. If you have any unwanted
photographs, documents or items from the First or Second World War, please do not destroy them.
The Wartime Memories Project will give them a good home and ensure that they are used for educational purposes. Please get in touch for the postal address, do not sent them to our PO Box as packages are not accepted.

Sgt. Kenneth Walter "Kelly" Gillingwater 147th (10th Hampshire) Regiment Royal Armoured Corps (d.4th Aug 1944) Kenneth Gillingwater was my uncle Kelly, he has no known grave.
He is however commemorated on the Bayeux Memorial at Calvados, France.

Capt. Ronald Grantham MC&Bar. 147th Regiment Royal Armoured Corps Ronald Grantham was an RTR officer who won two Military Crosses.
The first was won in 1940 in the BEF near Arras and the bar was won in the Battle for the Reichswald in 1945.
He survived the war and retired from the service in 1946.

Tpr. Walter Norris 147th Btn. Royal Armoured Corps (d.3rd November 1944) My husband's father, Walter Norris, died aged 30 on Friday 3rd November 1944 and is buried at Roosendaal-en-Nispen, Netherlands. Does anyone remember Walter or can anyone give any information on him? Does anyone remember serving in/around Roosendaal in October/November 1944?

Trooper Walter Norris 147th Rgt. Royal Armoured Corps (d.3rd November 1944) My husband's father, Trooper Walter Norris was wounded at or near Roosendaal and died on 3rd November 1944. He is buried at Roosendaal-en-Nispen, Netherlands. Does anyone remember Walter or does anyone remember serving in or around Roosendaal at this time?
