142641 F/O Peter Foley Gunter RAF VR 101 Squadron from:Galashiels, Selkirkshire, Scotland (d.3rd July 1945) My uncle Peter Gunter served at Ludford Magna in 101 squadron as a bomb aimer/navigator. On completion of his ops he went to Canada to help train aircrew on Liberators and was killed when a plane taking off was put on same runway as a landing plane. His crew were all buried in abbotsford cemetery British Columbia. I would like to here from anybody who knew him in his time with the RAF VR.
