204569 Gnr. William John "Bennet" Williams British Army 25th Medium and Heavy Training Regiment Royal Artillery from:Pentrosglwyn Cilgwyn Carmel, Caernarvon, Wales My father, William Williams was called up on the 26th of March 1942, and joined the 25th Medium and Heavy Training Regiment at the aerodrome, Marske in Yorkshire. His Captain was called Collings and his Sergeant was called Smillie. We could never get much info out of my father when he was alive so his two sons would like to hear from any one that served with him during the war. We know he landed on Juno beach with the Scottish Horse Canadian Division. We also know that he was in the Ardens, Belgium where he stayed with a Belgian family, they used write to my mother and send photos for some years. If anyone knew my father I would be very grateful to hear from them.
