Sgt. William David Warren

US Army 607th Tank Destroyer Rgt.

from:Troy, MS

My father, William Warren served in WWII and his military records were destroyed in the fire in the military records building. I am interested in finding out what battles he fought, names of the other soldiers in his units, so maybe I can contact thier families. My Dad died in 1998 and never talked about the war very much. My sister and brother and his grandchildren know he had some terrible memories but would like to reach out to others who can relate. I am pretty sure many of his men were killed, but not sure. He was discharged in 1945.
