Sidney Turner was my Grandpa Like many I never knew my Grandpa had served in WW2 until after his death - he survived the war unlike so many who tragically fell serving their country.
My Grandpa never spoke to me about his experience in WW2 - most probably too painful for him - and the loss of comerades must have taken it's toll on all those survivors. I have 2 war medals the Defence Medal & War Medal Does anyone have any further info they could post please
