My Uncle, Kenneth Cutts, joined the British Army in 1939 at the start of World War II, he was in one of the Scottish Regiments. He was captured by a German Panzer Tank Division at the Battle of Dunkirk in 1940.
He spent more than 4 years as a Prisoner of War in a work camp in Silesia (now Poland).
