208259 Sig. Walter Roscoe British Army Royal Corps of Signals from:St Helens, Lancashire (d.7th Feb 1945) My Uncle Walter Roscoe was born in St Helens, Lancashire in 1919. He was captured at Tobruk and remainded a prisoner of war until he was killed at Niederwiesa, Nr Chemnitz, Germany on the night of 6-7 February 1945. He is buried in the Berlin War Cemetery.
