208498 T/Sgt. Henry D. Irving USAAF 69th Bomb Sqd. My older Brother, T/Sgt Henry D. Irving, served with the 13th AF/42 Bomb Gp/69th Bomb Sqd in the South Pacific from early 1943 until Invasion of the Phillipines. He was a Radio-Gunner on a B-25 flying over Japanese held territory. He was based for some time on Guadacanal and did an R & R period at Christ Church NZ. Sgt Irving was awarded a number of Medals for his actions including The Air Medal with several clasps.
