Thomas Henry Turner British Army Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers My wife's uncle, Thomas Henry Turner, now aged 93, was a POW in Stalag 383, one of many camps he was held in from May 1940 to 1945. He was a Corporal in the R.E.M.E. For a large part of his time in the camps he was a medical orderly, as documents we have show.
