209385 W/O John Studd Royal Air Force 101 Squadron I start by saying it is such a privilege to know the gentleman John Studd and see him regularly. He served as a bomb aimer on Lancasters with 101 Squadron based at Ludford Magna. He had the courage to complete not 1 but, yes 3, complete tours 88 missions, his logbook reads of every major city raid. He was on the first mission to use window, attacked by night fighters, crashed and the aircraft snapped in half just after mid turret, all walked out!
