210376 Matthew McAllister British Army 8th Army from:Carrickfergus, Co Antrim (d.1942) My Great Uncle, Matthew McAllister from Carrickfergus Co. Antrim served in the 8th Army and died at the Battle of El Alamein Africa. The last my family heard from him was a postcard form Leeds when he got married. My family never knew his wife's name, so when he died she was his next of kin. Therefore, details sent to my grandfather were slim. Attached is a photo of him and his wife. If anyone remembers him I would really appreciate any information.
