210405 Jack Simmonds Royal Air Force Jack Simmonds My grandfather was an RAF pilot in WW2 and was shot down 6/7/41 and was captured in the morning of the 7/7/41 and taken to Stlag Luft 2 and escaped for a couple of a days and then was captured again and sent to Stlag Luft 3 where he and other spent the rest of the war in and his 21st birthday.
