My grandfather, Alfred Derrick, died on HMS Lancastria. Apparently when the ship was bombed he was thrown into the sea and covered in oil. I am actually wondering a. if anyone knew of him or b. how I would go about obtaining a photograph of him in his uniform. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
