213349 Sgt. Joseph Eric Goddard not known Royal Air Force 101 Squadron from:Grassmoor, Derbyshire (d.28th Jul 1943) Eric Goddard was the only son of Tom and Mary Ann Goddard of Grassmoor, Derbyshire. Thought to have gone to a grammar school. His mother died of a broken heart shortly after she lost her only son. He was a navigator of Lancaster Bomber, died on July 28th 1943 age 27 years old. We are assuming he died in the Hamburg bombing navigating a Lancaster plane. Joseph Eric Goddard is buried in Hamburg War Cemetary. Any more info greatly appreciated.
