On the 21st May 1943 there was an aircraft crash near Arbroath in Scotland. The plane was from 320 (Netherlands) Squadron and among its crew was RAC Heyne, a Dutch national. He was drowned in the plane which sank before anyone could help him. His Graveis at Western Cemetery, Arbroath, Angus, Scotland.
