The aircraft went down in burning near Cherbourg, France. Crew members were: A.J. Van Dieren Bijvoet - MIA Van Der Knaap - MIA Sgt. P.F. Van Woesik - KIA washed ashore 5th November 1943 nr. Fort Hornet, Cherbourg, France. Cpl. A.G. Apeldoorn - MIA no known grave.
