J B Errington died aged 37, when teh SS Lacenby was sunk. He was born in Tynemouth in 1905, the son of George and Jane Errington of 26 Walter Street Jarrow.
He is remembered on the Tower Hill Memorial and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
