Daniel Flanagan who died aged 22 was born in Jarrow in 1920. He was the son of Owen and Marion D. Flanagan (nee Fenwick) of 35 James Street Jarrow
Daniel is remembered on the Tower Hill Memorial and is commemorated on the WW2 Roll of Honour Plaque in the entrance of Jarrow Town Hall.
